Fashion in the media for other global markets is much different than American media. I compared the August issue for Vogue Spain, in which Kim Kardashian was on the cover.

The focued much on Kim, lower title transaltes " Confession of the Kardashian, about Kanye, her new pregnancy, and her transexual stepdad, and more".
Top right title, translates to "new fashion, handbags, and shoes, that will take you shopping".
For one, I noticed that other global markets don't use so much headlines, the approach is based on simplicity. Some global markets are not so strict on their sensorhip. It's much more accepted to see a woman's body in a natural state, something that is still a struggling isssue in the American media. This issue was very artistic with their stories. In the sense that, many stories were shown with an artistic vibe, versus an actual publication that focued on the topic.
NYFW was filled with various colors, silhouette, prints, and of course glamour. American fashion is different in many ways to other global markets. Specifically I've looked at Milan SS16 with Dolce & Gabbana.
SS16 Milan was filled with the best Italian designers, that showcase tradition, modernity, and style. Italy is known for their couture. Dolce & Gabbana, is my favorite Italian fashion house, run by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. This fashion house continues to be widely respected globally. Dolce & Gabbana has always made apparent their proud Italian heritage through the collections. For SS16, reds, yellows, pinks, and of course black was the main color palette. Fitted, loose, form fitting sihlouettes were also key in this runway show. Almost every model carried a Dolce & Gabbanna shopping bag, to showcase the brand name. Italian fashion is very couture, and focused mainly on the garment, versus the accessories and stylistic way of interpreting the fashion.

Look 1/92
Model is holding her phone, to imply the modern day woman. Along with a Dolce & Gabbana shopping bag to demonstrate an Italian woman out on a shopping day.

Look 58/92.
Model is wearing a red velvet dress, with an religious image (something not so common to see in American fashion.
